Charming hotel set in lovely surroundings. Very helpful and friendly staff. Stayed an extra night as we didn't want to leave. Very good value for money.

The rooms were very spacious and very clean. They changed our room for a lower floor as the dog is old and can't handle stairs very well. Breakfast was great and let us eat in the bar area as dogs can't go into the restaurant. Location you couldn't ask for anything better.

Great pub up the road-The Dambusters that was full of interesting facts and items belonging to the R.A.F. Good meals served there. Try the fish and chips. The fish is so big it hangs over the side of the plate!!!!
Have a look around the church for more records of the war and the local heroes.
If you are going into Lincoln it is an easy run from Scampton.
In all, it was a wonderful stay at the cottage.
