From the moment we arrived to the time we left every member of staff was so friendly and profesional. The hotel is in a perfect location we could see the Cathedral from our window. Bedroom and bathroom were both comfortable and very clean. The breakfast we had was one of the best I have ever had, as we were travelling with our dog we ate our breakfast in the bar area (as dogs are not allowed in the restaurant) on a table set up just for us Ivy (our dog) even had her own Lincoln sausage. Would recommend this hotel to eveyone

Lovely hotel, room was clean and stylish , really comfy bed and bathroom was modern . Easy to park right outside the hotel and a sign to put in the window for a £10 deposit which you get back at the end of your stay , staff were friendly and we went in the bar at night which again staff chatty and friendly would definitely stay again . Location is perfect with cathedral just at the end of the road and the two pubs at the end were great as well .

Great pub up the road-The Dambusters that was full of interesting facts and items belonging to the R.A.F. Good meals served there. Try the fish and chips. The fish is so big it hangs over the side of the plate!!!!
Have a look around the church for more records of the war and the local heroes.
If you are going into Lincoln it is an easy run from Scampton.
In all, it was a wonderful stay at the cottage.
