It was convenient for where we wanted to visit. Things listed as part of the rental eg barbecue, tumble drier, coffee machine had to be paid for, no sea view. Ran out of essentials like toilet roll, wash up liquid, kitchen roll. Over priced.sueUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
If you stay in a house on the front,you get a lovely view if...
If you stay in a house on the front,you get a lovely view if the sea and across to Orkney on a clear day. From Skarfskerry you can get to John o groats and down the east coast or you can can go west to many places. It is also just down the road from the castle Mey,owned by the Queen Mother. Go to the restaurant at Scrabster,lovely meals there. Avoid the van at John o groats for food. The fish n chips we got was frozen and awful. Go to Broughs Bay on the way to Dunnet head and you will see lots if seals. Hopefully you will see puffins at Dunnet head too.

It was an ideal location to stop off after day one of NC500...
It was an ideal location to stop off after day one of NC500 going anti clockwise. Close to lovely beach and supermarket in Thurso. Also close to John O Groats. We drove from here to the Dunnet Head lighthouse which was also close.KarenUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

I enjoyed all the wildlife I saw the puffins the dolphins, I went over to dunnet head and I went down into a bunker and I saw all the wildlife and birds at water levelI,it was lovely experience, i went across to the Orkney Islands that was beautiful, I looked across to see if I can see my bed and breakfast and I'm fairly sure I found it looking through binoculars.
