Most everything was absolutely spot on. The key elements of any stay were present: cleanliness, warmth and comfort. Our room was a standard twin with bathroom and was serviced daily. Food at breakfast (we didn't partake of an evening meal) was varied, plentiful and delicious. Staff were always willing, attentive and helpful. There was entertainment in the ballroom on two nights out of our five night stay although there were very few people in the audience perhaps because of the time of year. Perhaps as a result of this, the bar did tend to close a little earlier than expected. This was however compensated for by the Tetleys bitter and Guiness being half price!

The area is beautiful and long walks around the beach are a must. The accommodation was lovely and it felt like we were in a little village. The local wildlife was extraordinary and very entertaining to watch over the beautiful landscape.
Down the road are two wonderful pubs, The Fort and The Boat House, Both provide delicious food although the Boat House was quite expensive.
The area provides easy access to Ryde and Newport which leads to most of the Island. The roads are easy to drive with no Motorways or busy commuter roads. No matter where you go the scenery is breathtaking. Seaview is a lovely town, very clean and the people are extremely friendly. We would certainly return.

As an elderly couple with movement problems the nearby seawall and promenade allowed us to enjoy daily walks overlooking the Solent. The variety of yachts, cruise ships and speed boats moving between the mainland and the Island and going out to sea giving us an interesting view.

Seaview has a large dog friendly beach and several eating places nearby that are happy to let dogs in. It is close to Ryde for the hovercraft to the mainland and shops, adventure playgrounds and places to eat.

Seaview its self is very small with very few facilities but is a nice area for sailing or walking along the sea wall. There are a couple of nice pubs in the area but both seemed to be a bit on the expensive side for drinks and food.
Every single thing about this stay was perfect, from the staff friendliness to the atmosphere, the food, the decor, the view from the room, never going to forget that! Breakfast...I can't even begin to describe, for what we paid it was like getting gold for free! Will definitely be considering this hotel first whenever we can visitthe isle again! Thank you so much for a movie-like experience :)
Location is brilliant and very central to old Seaview - perfect
The cottage has everything you need, very cosy, bed very comfortable and shower brilliant.
Excellent communication with hosts from the beginning
Even though no private parking - always space within a few yards in the side street.
Loved our stay
Breakfast was excellent with a very friendly waitress. The hotel was very close to the sea and our room was upgraded on our arrival. It felt as if the rooms had been recently smartened up and there was fresh coffee and tea available. I would thoroughly recommend this friendly hotel.
Owner had thought of everything that you might need for a self-catering holiday plus hotel-like extras such as tea, coffee, milk, soap, shower gel, etc. Plenty of cleaning materials. Maps, leaflets, games provided. Free parking nearby. Good place for walks.
Everything was excellent. From the time I booked holiday till checking out on our last day. Communication was good, Location was brilliant, quiet and peaceful. Property and surroundings were clean and tidy
This was self catering accommodation set in a very quiet location backing on to a nature reserve. The property was well appointed, clean and a pleasant 2 minute walk to the seafront.
Adorable little bungalow in a fabulous position close to the beach. We loved being next to the lake. Well equipped and comfortable. Best place we've stayed in Seaview :)
