Location couldn't be better, within five minutes off the A1. Ample parkng. It's a very old inn so expect wonky floors and such but good plumbing. Excellent bar and restaurant. We had live rock band which made our stay even better.

The hotel is in a superb location, very peaceful, most rooms would have a lovely view of the lake (like mine did). The staff were all super friendly and the food was excellent. Plenty of great drink selections at the bar, including non-alcoholic options. Great facilities, crazy golf, gym, pool and lots of neighbouring walks and rides. Loved the added touch of a yoga mat in the room!

Unfortunately the WiFi was down on arrival so no payment could be taken which meant the pub could not open that evening. Tracy very kindly offered to make me some food Free of charge. Which was above and beyond. The hotel is very comfortable and will definitely be back when I'm in the area..

Personally i loved it all staff were very helpful we arrived early and was allowed to our rooms anything we asked for they were happy to help. Really enjoyed my breakfast wished they had put more mushrooms but cup of tea rather pot was fab especially after a good night out on the razz. Also they offered a sunday carvery but shame we had to go
