Grange Lodge was perfect for me - homely and welcoming, spotlessly clean and comfortable, lovely helpful, friendly staff. On a main bus route but walkable downhill into town. Good choice of well cooked traditional pub meals available in the bar. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The overall historical significance of the Channel Islands...
The overall historical significance of the Channel Islands through the last millennium is fascinating -- the back and forth with France and England. Then, there is the significance of the German Occupation during WW2 with the artifacts that were left that are incredible. The island scenery, with the old, old houses and buildings, as well as the beautiful coastline, make this a very interesting, yet relaxing place to stay. The bus system is very easy to use and cheap with a 7 day pass. If you are looking for an interesting vacation, this is a good place to visit.

St Saviour is a fairly quiet inland part of Guernsey.
St Saviour is a fairly quiet inland part of Guernsey. We wanted a quiet country hotel and this is exactly what we got.
A hire car is necessary easily to visit the numerous attractions on this lovely island.
A particular highlight was the west-facing Cobo where we spent quite a bit of time enjoying the view.
St Peter Port is showing some, perhaps inevitable, signs of recession but is still a most enjoyable visit. We appreciated the ease of car parking for a short time close to the centre.

Loved the landscapes, the beaches, the friendliness of the bus drivers, the walks, the extraordinary accessibility of monuments (walk into a neolithic grave; into St Appolline's chapel); the hedge veg!
Found the bus timetable a little difficult to navigate.

Quite remote but beautiful in its own way.
Quite remote but beautiful in its own way. Well served by a Morrison shop and combined garage, No swimming beach but a wonderful vista that changed dramatically with the tides. A hotel close by for an occasional drink or meal. Good bus service and any journey one cost a pound!

A lovely parish with good facilities.
A lovely parish with good facilities. There is a pretty village nearby with a post office/gift shop, and a Morrison’s supermarket. A lovely bus or car ride will take you to the stunning West coast beaches. The parish church is also worth a visit, as is Auberge du Val hotel/restaurant.

What an absolute gem the Farmhouse Hotel is ! Booked for 3 nights for our first visit to Guernsey and our stay exceeded all our expectations. Customer service was outstanding and food was superb. We had a really lovely room with the most amazingly comfortable bed. The hotel is beautifully maintained both inside and outside with the most beautiful garden and it’s perfectly located in the centre of the island to visit all the great places that Guernsey has to offer. What more could anyone ask for ?!
We had such a great time on our 4 night stay at The Imperial Hotel. The staff were so friendly and smiley whenever we approached them. They did a breakfast for us which they made vegan I highly recommend the avocado on toast it was heavenly. And breakfast was eaten watching the gorgeous view of the beach and Fort Grey. The room was comfortable had good amenities. We also had a balcony which was really wonderful.
The hotel is in a lovely location. The weather was great and it was nice to sit outside on the deck in front of the hotel in the evening. Room was bright and clean and very comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will be returning in August . Highly recommend
We liked everything about this hotel. The rooms are big, bright and comfortable and the view to the sea is amazing.
The food was always of five star quality from the taste to the presentation.
We will definitely recommend to friends and family.
How well the hotel was refurbished to the owners design, the warm welcome on arrival, the spectacular views from the bedrooms over the bay. To wake up in the morning looking at the sea in front of the hotel
The imperial is perfectly situated at the far end of the island. The views are fabulous, busses stop outside the hotel.
Staff were friendly the food was good.
