The lady who helped me was THE BEST!! I surprised my fiancé with a decorated room for his birthday and the lady at reception helped me pretend I was checking in for the first time so he didn’t know I had been. The location worked for us since we needed to be in South Ockendon. It was just around the corner from the people we were there to see. The house was clean and tidy, had just enough space, and served us well for the five nights there. The hosts were both lovely and very accommodating—they clearly wanted everything to be perfect, and this was demonstrated by their excellent customer service. Nothing was too much of a bother, and they responded swiftly whenever we needed anything. I really couldn't fault them for attentiveness and friendliness. There were sufficient consumables in the property. Although there was no dropped curb, we could still park the car in the paved front garden, which was very handy. We had a limited budget, and this property was one of the cheaper ones available, so the price was right.
