    Stirling is a lovely area.

Stirling is a lovely area. The castle is really interesting but there is a lot of walking on cobbles. We are getting on a bit so found it a bit uphill and down dale but well worth a visit. 20 minutes drive from Stirling are The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel. The Kelpies are amazing and if you book a tour they take you inside, a must for any engineer. Falkirk Wheel is more interesting watching from outside but is an absolute master in engineering. Stirling town centre had a lovely shopping Mal we just found it busy and difficult to park.

Stirling is my home town, but I have lived in the Highlands for many years now and always enjoy returning. I cannot see it through the eyes of a stranger, but I am proud of what it has to offer. You are literally walking through history on the streets of the upper town below the castle. Climb the Wallace monument and enjoy views from Edinburgh in the east to Argyll in the west. Play golf on one of the finest courses in Scotland with lovely views over the Carse. I could go on. Stirling is a must-see for visitors to Scotland.

Great location in the centre of Scotland.

Great location in the centre of Scotland. Stirling castle, battle of bannockburn and the Wallace monument are just 3 of the historical sights close by. Kings park gold course is lovely to walk around offering glorious views across the castle. Lovely farm shops with cafes close by. The gateway to the highlands for those wanting to see more.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to see (Stirling Castle and surrounding area). It was within walking distance of all the "tourist" shops and many historic sites. It was also a great value for the location. I looked at a couple of other hotels in the immediate area and they were more expensive. A couple of other small things I liked were the car park right behind the hotel (for guests only), the breakfast, and the spacious bathroom with the amazing towel warmer. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

A fantastic B and B with a superb host in Laura. Extremely comfortable, very clean and a brilliant location. The lounge was a beautiful added bonus with tea, coffee and treats always available. Breakfast was fab with home made bread. We didn't eat till evening after breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and Laura ensured we were happy from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We didn't want to leave. If you need somewhere to stay in Stirling you must come here.

The accommodation is located just outside Stirling (with excellent parking space for all guests) in a very tranquil area. Lovely garden outside with sitting area. Spacious bathroom (compared to other B&B we stayed in Scotland) and much appreciated tea & coffee facilities (and hairdryer). We booked a triple room that was exactly as advertised. 15/20 minutes away from Midhope Castle and Hopetoun House (for Outlander fans) and just 30 minutes from Edinburgh airport.

The staff were as helpful as could be and very pleasant, the rooms comfortable, light and traditional. The building location is wonderful for visiting Stirling and of course the magnificent Stirling Castle. We spent 3-4 hours at the castle and enjoyed every moment. Alva Glen is just down the road from Broomhall Castle and provides a wonderful up hill walk and fabulous views over the surrounding areas. We really enjoyed our two night stop here.

The location of the hotel was great, walking distance to the city centre and Stirling castle. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were good, especially the cooked to order b'fast.I did appreciate the console table with a mirror and a stool which is so hard to find in any hotel room. This was the only hotel we visited in Scotland which had a good hair dryer with the front part not missing. If you're a woman, you know what I mean!

We liked the location, so much more quiet than Edinburgh. The deal was really good, breakfast was ok - having warm food during that cold weather was key for us. We also had dinner there for the 2 nights spend, the food was good (a bit pricey though). You can have a walk through the Bannockburn Battlefield which is right behind the hotel. I highly recommend the National Wallace Museum from Stirling as well.

Room was comfortable, staff were all really friendly and helpful, breakfast was great (lots of choice, especially nice fresh fruit), location is lovely being in the middle of the university grounds (during Easter holidays so really quite with most students away). Great location for going into Stirling and all the countryside around.

Lovely guest house in the city centre. It is typical British shabby chic, so don’t expect the Sheridan hotel, but it was absolutely perfect for our need and would always book again. The breakfast cheap and yummy, the kids liked it. Staff very friendly and helpful. There was plenty coffee and tea and toiletries available

Check in was quick - room ready early. Car parking right outside the hotel which was really convenient as not a lot of parking in Stirling. The location was great, right in the centre. 10 mins walk to Castle and the restaurant we had booked. We really enjoyed the use of the swimming pool and facilities
