Room well lit, very good side bathroom. The bed was comfortable and cosy. Easy access to the first floor. Tea and coffee to start the day. The room was clean, which was nice.

Stourbridge, I suspect has gone the way of many market towns - huge shopping centre nearby in Merry Hill has meant a lot of small, niche shops have just given up. Great place to explore the Black Country from!

Attractions worth visiting which can be reached by bus or car are Black country Living Museum, Kinver Rock Houses, the Glass Museum and the Clent Hills. Some websites also list attractions in Birmingham, but for them you are better off staying in Birmingham.

I can only be honest & say this was the most surreal hotel visit & worst hotel experience of my life so far. I don’t wish to be mean or excessively critical but the only positive I can say is that the bed was comfortable & clean & the room was clean & spacious in the end once I could finally access it at 12:30am, 10 hours plus after check in opened.

I was just traveling through as I had arrived late into Birmingham airport and was looking for a place to sleep before being picked up by a friend in the morning and the airport hotels were very expensive.
There isn’t much to see in Stourbridge really. Nice town but not a tourist destination
We struggle to find somewhere nice to stay when we come to visit family in Stourbridge but this property ticked all the boxes. It is clean, cosy and so comfortable . Lots of little extras that make it feel like home including a very much appreciated welcome pack. Perfectly situated for us visiting extended family around the West Midlands and Shropshire with plenty of secure parking. We will certainly be looking out for availability when we next visit.
Gorgeous setting, lovely staff and room. Loved the quirky features like the wonky floor, the massive bay window with seating, big bed, pretty chandelier. The ceiling beams, the bathroom had a massive jacuzzi bath, shower etc which we didn't expect. We would definitely stay again. The staff will lovely too. The grounds were lovely and it was lovely and quiet. It was a hot day and there was a fan provided which was great as many hotels don't provide one
A beautifully restored and maintained pub hotel hosted by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff offering great value meals in a choice of comfortable and spacious rooms. The bedrooms also are spacious and named. Mine was Holders Brewery and featured appropriate historical photographs on the walls. The bar offers 13 cask ales on an impressively long row of hand pumps. The hotel is very close to the railway station
Lovely spacious apartment, well appointed and equipped, super comfy bed, lovely crockery, enough cutlery, well heated and with its own private gated parking . The location within a few minutes walk of Stourbridge junction suited me very well for the half hour train trip into central Birmingham for the day. Shops, park and petrol all very close by. A super luxurious stay.
Room large and everything clean. Staff very friendly. Great value for money, breakfast paid separately and was very good. Outstanding selection of beers. Great recommendations for evening meals out of the hotel.
Clean, friendly and welcoming. The room I had was lovely. As a female travelling alone, it’s always a huge bonus to find a property where you feel safe, this hotel certainly provided that.
Staff were amazing, chatty and approachable, bar food was great and room was extremely comfortable. Would recommend 100% to anybody looking to stay in a lovely and picturesque area.
The hotel was beautiful, very historic, the staff were very friendly and helpful, my room was lovely , will definitely stay again but will ask for a different room next time
