We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Red Lion and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made us all feel right at home. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better – it’s nestled in the heart of Lacock, with easy access to all the attractions.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious food offered at the hotel’s restaurant. All our meals were excellent, and I especially loved the freshly cooked breakfast made to order. It was the perfect way to start each day of exploration.
The rooms were impeccably clean and welcoming, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. Overall, my stay at the Red Lion exceeded all expectations, thanks to the amazing staff, fantastic location, and delicious food. I can’t wait to return!

The hosts were very attentive and made our stay. The home made sourdough for breakfast was incredible. We were staying for a wedding and she offered to drop us off and pick us up, which saved us getting a taxi.

Not much to say, it's a pretty village, with not much going on. I didn't spend any time exploring or visiting there - I was only there on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday and everything was closed. I drove into Chippenham for something to eat on Sunday evening and on Monday I spent the day in Stanton St Quinton at a wedding.
