The cottage was really clean and light.

The cottage was really clean and light. We only stayed the weekend so can’t say how it would be for a long stay but it was perfect for a family weekend. We needed to use the sofa bed (mattress was a bit lumpy) and I think that might’ve been hard to use for a whole week. Possibly worth noting: there’s a bit of a building site further up the road (on the same farm, I presume). It didn’t look like anything is being done there at the moment, but would be worth asking before booking. In terms of the cottage itself, it was just as described - or even better. I had a couple of queries which were answered really quickly - even late in the evening - and felt really confident that any problems would have been dealt with promptly, so was very happy with the stay. The countryside around is beautiful too.
