Food at the restaurant was superbe. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location with wonderfully kept gardens. Enough parking even with events on in the function room. The walk from the lower carpark to the hotel was "Bracing"! it was a bit of a climb, but not too bad!! An Ideal location for traveling to Windermere and Coniston lakes.

I had requested a twin room so was offered a different room with 2beds, room lovely and warm and beds comfortable. Breakfast and staff excellent.
