Great check in. Friendly staff. We had breakfast, there was plenty of choice. Tge hotel is plased in the centre of town. The bar prices were very reasonable. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and takeaways within a few minutes walk. As well as an Asda. We enjoyed our stay.

Pontlands Park is located in countryside just 15 minutes’ drive from the M25 and 30 minutes from Stansted Airport. Built in 1879 the hotel features Victorian architecture and relaxed splendour.

Lovely grounds nice relaxed feel. If you like to use a gym, don't stay here, only because there isn't really a gym. Nice little swimming pool, sauna and steam room. You can order food on poolside and jacuzzi inside and outside, also outside pool.
Loved it, just what we needed.
Food was lovely too, breakfast was so good.

Everything was great. We had a fabulous time. The room, the staff, the bar, the location and particularly the Spa. It really was better than we'd hoped. We cannot wait to go again.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was ok. The wifi in the room was rubbish. The chair in the room was very uncomfortable so had to sit on bed for the evening. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The bar meal I had was good and the beer garden is lovely.

Good cleanliness and convenient location for the event we were attending. The bathroom seemed to have been recently upgraded and felt modern and clean (hopefully room upgrades are planned!). The breakfast hot menus was excellent and good quality, but served quite late if you have an early start. The cold selection was minimal… a bowl of fruit and some two very sweet cereals.

A wonderful breakfast and I very much liked the pretty breakfast room which was very well situated for looking at the antiques shops in the local area. A very pleasant stay.
