The location and accommodation were perfect, a real get away from civilisation.
We planned on eating from the 6 course taster menu as it was my wife's Birthday however neither of us were blown away by more than three of the six courses so opted instead for the ala carte menu. Our starters were delicious, duck salad with pomegranate, blood orange and feta along with a portion of stick pork belly bites. For main course I opted for saddle of venison and my wife opted for a steak. Both dishes were delicious, the service brilliant and the atmosphere perfect.

The quality of fitments in the room were excellet. Best shower, for pressure, I have ever had in a hotel. Our only interaction with the staff was when we booked in and had lunch. They were very friendly and helpful and the lunch ( a Thursday and Friday meal deal) was good quality, well priced and met our needs at the time.
