SoHot Stays - Sea Views From Every Room, hotel in Westgate on Sea

Situated in Westgate on Sea, the recently renovated SoHot Stays - Sea Views From Every Room features accommodation 10 km from Granville Theatre and 17 km from Sandwich Railway Station.

Lovely light, spacious rooms, and well equipped. It was a real home from home to relax in. The view is fabulous, and there is a special little restaurant a 2 min walk away. The location is great, so I had to make the most of the balconies and that outlook.

We always stay here when visiting Thanet. There is a warm welcome and the staff can't do enough to make sure your stay is comfortable. It might not be on the seafront but there are plenty of regular buses to get you there.

It has quite a big bay which includes several different beaches and facilities. There are many walks you can take some of which include other destinations in the Thanet area. It is central for travelling by car to other places. There are a good selection of places to eat and drink including dog-friendly ones.

Fabulous, lovely quiet beach, amenities available, beach bar is fab, although was closed on the Monday, this is particularly unfortunate at the moment (mid summer season) as only other cafe/shop is currently closed for refurb and therefore no refreshments on the beach at all on Mondays . Coffee shop/shop/ice creams facilities under going a new build so closed on this occasion and was greatly missed but I'm sure upon completion it will be a great asset to the beach.

Westgate on Sea was the best park I have stayed on.

Westgate on Sea was the best park I have stayed on. Staff, entertainment, food was truly great. Something going on all the time. Couldn't fault it at all. Also it is a short journey in the car to get to lots of beaches, try a different one every day.

Nice place with all the shops you require for staying in the area. Larger shops available a short drive away at Westwood Cross. A few nice pubs and plenty of easy access with the main train line running through. People seem friendly in the area.

The meals in the local eating places were not good. Buses are easy to catch just round the corner to Margate & Canterbury. Westgate on Sea is a clean seaside town with beautiful views along the coastline. An amazing sunset every night.
