I booked Mabel cottage for one of our employees working in the area. On arrival the property was extremely clear and tidy with all requirements in place. It is walking distance from shops including a Coop and excellent pubs etc. Anthony [owner] provided the key and was extremely helpful. The feed back from our employee was extremely positive and that the property is in an idyllic location on the banks of the river Meon. Breakfast at the weekend didn’t start till 8am so they did refund me. We have to leave before this time.. Restaurant- we eat sat night. It was busy more of a local pub not a restaurant feel and not many tables so you need to book. Food was average and I bit over priced. Bed very comfortable.

Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. They also still serve biscuits with your teas and coffee which is now rare in other hotels. Ample parking space is a huge plus and the service we received from all staff was amazing. I love the multiple bar and lounge areas available till late
