On arrival, the hotel upgraded our booked room with a Mountain View to a room with a Sea View, with no charge. The room was nice and spacious for three of us. The beds were comfortable. In the room, we had a mini fridge, a cattle and a coffee maker, which we hardly ever used over our stay as we had a package of all inclusive. The view from the room was amazing: a swimming pool and the SEA.
The staff was welcoming and friendly. We really appreciate all the staff cooking and serving for us and other guests, they were exceptional. The food was delicious, especially in the evenings when greek traditional meals had been cooked. We had our lunch only once in the hotel but it also was very tasty. The buffet consisted of variety of food options.
Every evening, there was a well organised entertainment program, including a traditional Cretan dances and a magician show. Children also had time of some activities in the mornings and then dances in the evenings.
As we liked to travel around the island, the location was important to us. The hotel is located around half an hour from the Chania airport and is great to many tourists destinations.

Perfect for our needs. Loved the room, the restaurant and the people. We needed something somewhat close to the airport for a early morning flight and we were very happy with this place. We've already started talking about coming back to Greece and spending some more time here!

We had a huge apartment with sea view. The staff were friendly.
Very beautiful and comfortable place. The reality is more beautiful than the pictures. Very generous and sweet hostess: greeted with gifts, patiently answered all questions, did not charge for a broken table. The kitchen was fully equipped. Washing machine. Hot water with good pressure.
The beach with the footbridge in the village was very convenient for our son with a broken leg :). The food in tavernas was very tasty.

Very quiet and remote town, there is not a lot here at all. However for a Villa holiday with access to a car it is ideal! The views overlooking the bay are incredible if you can stay higher up the mountain. Nearest supermarket around a 10-15 minute drive.

A short drive of a few mins you get to a supermarket and a little cluster of great tavernas. Our favourite was Elpis- their prawns in particular were amazing. (Also small supermarkets right near) . Drive a bit further down to the main town of Almyrida, with loads of tavernas to choose from- we ate at Psaros restaurant which was brilliant, with an amazing seafood platter- right on the beach front.
Would advise a car to get round not only here- but lots of places in crete. Would highly recommend a trip to lake kournas, and getting a pedalo out on the lake. It was our favourite place.
