I loved the location. The views were breathtaking. I'll never forget the sunsets into the Ionian. Stunning. I liked it was a traditional Greek home and not a super modern box with no soul or identity that you can find in any global popular tourist spot. This home feels like you're immersed in Greek life. I loved it. There were so many outside areas to sit and appreciate the views or just socialise and eat. The house was so well equipped. Everything you need from beach towels to BBQ fish grill thingy! The host was really easy to communicate with through Booking.com messages. Previous comments about WiFi surprise me. In the house and on the veranda we had good coverage and could both stream at the same time without issue. The lady in the local shop and cafe was lovely and super helpful.

The hotel is located in the tourist centre of Alikanas village - so it is close to all interesting places like restaurants, shops and beach. The biggest surprise was the nice aesthetic and comfort of the room - especially beds, we really loved sleeping on them! The staff was also helpful, they printed us the boarding passes and told hints about what to do around while staying here.

All inclusive - the quality of alcohol and food was acceptable - cannot complain really. Maybe some more chicken and not pork. Lots of options. Happy.

Nice and quiet, busiest time was for breakfast and it wasn't exactly busy.
Pool was very quiet in the day if you wanted to just read a book and chill.

You do need a car and you are not in the touristic places. Wonderfully quiet with the 8 cats of the house and a super large garden with barbeque and all the amenities you can think of.
