For a 1 or 2 night stay if your touring crete its OK. Ideally it has supermarket opposite. The prices at the hotel were very good and everyone there helpful.
For the price per night paid with a breakfast we were not expecting luxury.

Best thing about the hotel is the staff, they were really nice and accomodating, making sure our stay there is perfect (manager, bartenders and waiters all together)
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and modern, and over all very very calm (the "no children" helps). Perfect for those searching to be reposed.
The food is good and variate (lots of fruits and salads but lacking in sea food)
There are 3 themes night a week with live music where the hotel is more animated which is a good balance.
Just 250 metres from the beach, Golden Rose is located in Kolymbari Town. It features an outdoor swimming pool. All the units offer a terrace or balcony with garden or sea views.
We stayed in Nopiyia for 5 days. Maracaibo restaurant is a must - they serve local food that is to die for. Please note you need to make reservation for dinner.
Local beach is rocky, so water shoes are advised. But the beach is quite as mainly locals are there. If you drive half a mile towards Kissamos there are some nice restaurants on the beach.
Due to location places like Balos and Elafonissi is easy to reach. You also save on accommodation, as it is a small place.
