We stayed before high season, when it was not fullt booked so had oportunity to enjoy at most calm and lovely area. Room was spacious, beds superbly comfy, and owner super friendly and helpfull. Hospitality at most :) Overall higly reccomend for everyone :)

We ended up in Glifa after leaving the Pelion which had terrible flooding. The hotel and staff were fantastic - we enjoyed a very relaxing week spent reading by the pool and swimming in the sea - exactly what we needed after a rather stressful time the week before. Delicious breakfast, great split level room for myself, my husband and my daughter, and friendly staff who were fantastic.

We thought this hotel extremely good value for money. All the rooms have balconies overlooking the sea and we loved the view and proximity to the ocean. The room was clean and had everything we wanted but felt rather basic - a little as if we were in student accomodation, as indeed did the decor of much of the hotel. Food - both breakfast and dinner were reasonably good (although another group had nicer food!) - and some excellent reasonably priced wine was offered (we were not on an all inclusive deal which some other guests were). Good bed, great shower. The hotel is in a quieter part of town which means it's a longer walk to any other bars/restaurants. Good English spoken by the staff. The hot springs nearby are fab - (NB the write up for the Hotel implies they are on site whereas they are a drive away)
