Location was close enough to Molivos, but far enough to have a quiet stay near sea. Breakfast was more than I expected. Hotel upgraded my room, which has a perfect sea view. Quality of tavern located between pool and beach was also good. We enjoyed staying in Aphrodite Hotel :)
Amongst well-maintained gardens, Akti Hotel is located on a quiet seaside spot, just 1km from Molivos.

nice little place in the middle of the island, directly at the bay and the beach. due to location more dining options than one might expect from the size of the village, but no clubs/party, which makes it enjoyably calm. loved the sounds of zicadas and birds at night

It is a nice quite area that also affords the guest a downtown with restaurants and cafes.
We went in October to see Flamingos and saw hundreds of them. It is a birders paradise. The landscapes and sunsets are also magnificent.
We are looking forward to a return trip in the spring.

A quite, relaxing small village with most requirements close at hand. A mixture of accommodation types around the village and flat easy access for kilometres around. Very friendly locals and good quality local food. Only downside is the effect that the Greek recession of the last 9 years as had the area.
Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment with our own pool, the location slightly out of Skala Kallonis is pretty and peaceful with very easy parking and picturesque gardens . A great base for exploring this unspoilt island. We enjoyed the fruits and honey for our breakfast every day and the homemade halva especially. Great birding opportunities even as late as July. Alessandros is an excellent and attentive host who could not do enough to help us and make our stay the best. Thoroughly recommend for families and couples.
The personnel is great, all incredibly helpful, nice and friendly. 10/10 would visit again for the people working there alone <3
As for the hotel itself, it's in an easily accessible location and everything is orderly and clean. The pool is huge and always well maintained. Could spend every day just relaxing there.
Overall, if you're looking for a chill, beautiful hotel to destress with your friends or significant other for a few days, look no further. You won't be disappointed.
The hotel grounds and facility were great-- no complaints there. Skala Kallonis as an off-season location wasn't great-- not a lot of places were open, and the town itself didn't have a lot to offer. If we were going to return to Lesvos, we'd stay in Molyvos or Plomari, or Mytilene.
The host was beyond accommodating! And he was able to provide laundry services to us at the hotel, which was much appreciated.
Everything was amazing, from the location (very close to the beach, bakery, tavernas, supermarket, port of Skala Kallonis) to the nice decor of the studio, the cleanliness and all the sweet details, the flowers, the lights, to the practical things (I have never seen such a complete equipment of a studio before). And on top of all this, the host: an extraordinary lady - kind, funny, warm and generous!
The room was really nice. It was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. The balcony afforded a nice view. The kitchen was perfect. It was a short walk to Skala Kallonis beach and the town. Some nice restaurants less than a mile away. I am looking forward to returning to Shine Studios in the spring of 2023.
Vasiliki was an amazing host.
There's not much more than I can say about this little slice of heaven. Angelo met us and showed us the amenities of the place. He was warm and welcoming and everything that we came to know about Lesvos. The house was spotless, meticulously maintained, easy to cook and easy to access the beach and the town. Definitely recommend!
Ideal location close to the main square. Nancy was very helpful with all my questions. The room was great, with a kitchenette, a small sitting area and a large balcony. Skala Kallonis was a great choice to spend a few days and this apartment made it even better!
Location is perfect, just at the center of Skala Kallonis, it is very near to the seaside, restaurants and cafes. Lovely bedroom upstairs and terrace.
Maria and her familiy are very lovely, they were wonderful hosts, they welcomed us perfectly and sincerely.
