RMH Lopud Lafodia Resort & Wellness, hotel in Brsečine

Hotel Lafodia is located on the car-free, scenic and tranquil Lopud Island which boasts 1.2 km of sandy beaches.

The only downside for us was the coffee at breakfast - I wasn't particularly keen on the machine coffee or the queues for the machines.

    Calm, Adriatic beauty.

Calm, Adriatic beauty. But also go up the road to Ston and Mali Ston, and definitely check out Trsteno Gardens and the little beach below. Slano is cool too. Dubrovnik is nice, but crowded. Rent a car. We also went to Bosnia (not so nice) and Kotor Montenegro (less nice than Croatia but interesting). Rent a boat with a skipper and go island hopping. Or stay and relax by the amazing pool at the villa. Cook in, cook out or visit the restaurants. You cannot make a bad decision here.
