The house is spacious and comfortable, and the quiet village in which it is situated has a little shop selling food and household necessities. There is also a pleasant cafe and restaurant. The garden is beautiful and overlooks the lake. The owners, Peter and Edit, could not have been more helpful and accommodating, and we were grateful for their proactive suggestions for local events and activities, and for their responsiveness to questions during our stay. We loved our stay at Mandula House in Paloznak and would definitely go again!

Could not recommend this hotel enough. EVERYTHING was simply excellent. The breakfast was amazing. We had the dinner only one time, and it was very good too.
Rita, the sommelier, was amazing, gave us a lot of recommendations for local wineries to visit, and also the tasting with her was very educational.
