The villa had absolutely everything we needed, large airy bedrooms and a great sitting room with kitchenette, which we only really used for coffee in the morning as we ate at the fabulous cafe all the time. It was so lovely to swim in the pool and lounge around up there, lots of birdsong. And we sat on the balcony in the morning and the evening, taking it all in, so peaceful.

As a surfer I stayed at Bebaleq as I wanted to surf Desert Point. It was a brilliant decision. The host Jhon is one of the nicest people ever and in my opinion is a huge part of why you should stay at this property. The room itself is a simple but beautiful raised room/bathroom combo situated in the middle of a field near Jhon's house, which is about a 15 min scooter ride from Desert point (the actual distance is not very far however the roads between the two locations are terrible as anyone who has been to Desert Point will know). Being slightly removed from Desert Point can be seen as a good thing (or a bad thing, depending on your opinion). Personally I found it a positive as the residence is very quiet, with no noise and I enjoyed the fact I was staying in a local village. Also you are still exceptionally close to a protected beautiful beach (it is just this beach doesn't have surf). In particular a highlight I would like to mention was Jhon going out of his way to help cart my surfboards to desert point in the early hours of the morning without expecting any payment for such a service. He truly is a brilliant host and this seemed representative of all the people I met in the village who were exceptionally friendly. Also as a note there are local cattle on the property, they are very chill/quiet but will sometimes rest underneath the house (personally I thought this was an added bonus).

Absolutely beautiful location! What an amazing place to stay. Amazing to be on beachfront! The rooms were light and bright and clean. I loved the turndown service each day. The staff were all great! The food delicious. The snorkling off the beach was good. And the snorkling trip was fabulous! This is the ideal place for a very quiet holiday
