Negara and surrounding area is a good place to visit when you dont care about white sand beaches and busy tourist places. There are a lot of interesting places to visit in the area - keep in mind that the area is pretty stretched out so you need to travel some distance and always need a car -. Places of interest : Rambut Siwi temple, Perancak turtle conservation, Perancak Delta, Makepung races, Belimbingsari, Palisari, Negara city park and temple. Negara is a local town.
Negara is a local town. Here are no tourists or souvenir shops. It has a nice park and market. Right out of Negara there are beautiful rice paddies with the ducks. We where located in Perancak, witch is about a 15 minute drive from Negara towards the beach. From here you can see the buffalo races, look at the fantastic Bali fishing boats or just enjoy the unspoiled local scenery.BoukeNetherlands - 8.0Scored 8.0

Friendly staff and very accommodating, they involve you in local activities. Relaxing setting and peaceful, local community are very friendly. It is a little way out of the town but worth the drive if you don’t mind a bumpy road. We hired a scooter and had some wonderful adventures. Your accomodation looks out over the rice paddies.
