The location is stunning right on the water and the tables all get a good view in the restaurant. Excellent food and cocktails. Friendly, personable staff and a very relaxed, homely atmosphere. The outdoor sea pool was lovely and warm (compared to the sea!) in the early summer sun.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We liked the situation of the house, tranquil and a bit of a drive from the main road. Easy to find thanks to signs at the main road. A beautiful view onto the sea and mountains. We especially appreciated the possibility of having a warm evening meal, prepared by Sylvain- very tasty, just as the excellent breakfast. Lovely seaside village location in the heart of Connemara. Our rooms had picturesque sea views and were spacious and clean with extremely comfortable beds, and everything we needed. The restaurant was excellent, and we enjoyed a very good dinner on one evening of our stay, with an emphasis on fresh local seafood. The breakfasts were both fabulous and generous, with loads of choice; freshly baked bread, homemade jams and hot dishes cooked to order. But what we enjoyed most was the warmth and friendliness of the owners and their team, big thanks to Cynthia, Diarmuid, Mary Ellen and Siobhan in the kitchen. We will be back as soon as we can.
