It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

We chose the Old Borough Hotel because it was easy distance to the airport. We have been to Wetherspoons on many occasions so know what to expect meals/drinks wise etc. Was super impressed with the hotel accommodation.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

I was extremely excited to go to this hotel from the pictures that I viewed and was deeply disappointed when we arrived. Our room looked nothing like any of the photographs. I would never have stayed there if I saw the quality of the room. I will not be back.

Good place for breakfast is the Gourmet Food Parlour for dinner go to the Wine House.
Good bus services and plenty of taxis
Do not stay at the Travel Lodge near the Airport
A good place to stay is Roganstown Golf and Country Club
Dan was so helpful when we arrived and even called us a taxi for the following morning as this was our first day in Ireland. The room was absolutely beautiful and the little breakfast nook had everything- French press coffee, cereal, pastries, milk, butter, jam, toast, orange juice, and more. The bed was so big and comfy, the room was nice and warm and the shower was great. Thank you so much for a great stay!
An amazing place to stay. All the rooms we had access to, being the kitchen, our own room and dining area, were spotless and very comforting - a true home from home. Our hosts were so lovely and available for any questions/help we needed which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place and visit again! It is also 10/15 minute drive from Dublin airport which is a bonus!
This is the cheapest hotel located close to the airport (around 15€ cab drive). Perfect if you have to stay overnight during a layover. A 30€ cab drive brings you to the center of Dublin.
Modern rooms. USB charging in the wall. Very fast and stable free wifi (with login)!
We were able to check in 3 hours earlier than the official check-in time.
This hotel is 10 minutes from Dublin airport and that's why we chose it. But it's nothing like a boring airport hotel. It's got charm and character and you can walk to several good restaurants within a few minutes. Very kind and helpful staff and bonus points for the hotel hiring Ukrainian refugees.
The owner was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the bus stop and travel all over this part of Ireland, switching to trains when needed. It was in a rural setting but easy to get to Swords by bus. The breakfast was great and the decor was beautiful.
Hotel was very clean and a good price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant was very good value and a comfortable place to have a meal after a long drive. Location is very close to the Dublin airport (if you are driving).
10 minute taxi ride to Dublin Airport. Clean & quiet room. Free shuttle from airport to hotel with friendly driver eager to show off his home town of Swords, took us through the town to show us the old castle on our way to the hotel.
Close to airport, walking distance to downtown swords, some things were older and very cute, but still very clean and comfortable. Mostly quiet hotel. Front desk was always helpful.
Swords is cute with its own castle and downtown.
Friendly check in, nice clean room. Nothing large or spectacular, but good functional hotel room for being close to the airport at a good price for the area. Certainly would stay here again if needed room near Dublin airport.
Excellent clean hotel with great food and very pleasant staff. Great location for airport/ferry port and Dublin City. Great shopping centres one over the road and a further two less than ten minutes away.
Very friendly and helpful owners, lovely spacious bungalow in the country very close to dublin airport, We didnt have time for breakfast in the morning but there was a breakfast pack left for us all.
