Suite- Studio- Zimmer, hotel in Bet Sheʼan

Offering garden views, Suite- Studio- Zimmer is an accommodation located in Bet Sheʼan, 37 km from Mount Tabor and 40 km from St. Peter's Church.

The owner was very nice and helpful. We came by car, could park in the courtyard. We stayed in a family room which was quite enough for two adults and a one year old baby (there was a little confusion in the beginning, we were staying in a "family room" which is a one room annex behind a family house, with its own bathroom and a little kitchenette; the other option is in the cellar and is supposed to be bigger). There is a little seating outside the annex which one could use when the others were already sleeping inside, in order not to disturb them. The owner provided us with a baby cot (which in the end we didn't use as the baby preferred to sleep with us in the bed). The equipment is rather basic but enough for what we needed.

I stayed 4 nights because I attended a 4-day convention nearby. The antiquities at the Beit Shean National Park are definitely worth a day or half-day visit. Nearby is beautiful Gan Hashalosha (Sachne) spring with 28 C degree water and a small archaeology museum. A bit farther north is the Sea of Galilee. Beit Shean could be a good place to stay for a night or two on the way from the Galilee to Jerusalem or the Dead Sea, depending on how many days you will be in Israel. Beware, the park sometimes has a night light show but otherwise the town closes down at night-time.

We were on our way from Israel to Jordan, so we looked for a place to stay in Beit She’an which is near the border. The apartment was perfect for our needs, very comfortable and clean. The family were so nice and welcoming with us. It was the Shabbat, so everything was closed, and they invited us to their home for an amazing dinner with their family. It was such a great and unique experience, Anita is an amazing cook and everyone was fun and inviting. We wish we had more time to explore the town more as there are some gems to see there. Would highly recommend!

It's very close to Gan Hashlosha, which is the nicest place to relax, enjoy nature and have a cool swim. Bring your own BBQ for the full Israeli experience. The city centre could definitely use a fix up

Very interesting ancient ruins, one must absolutely visit them!!! The weather is hot but visiting early in the morning ( between 8 and 10 ) is not so difficult even in summer. Travelling with egged buses from Jerusalem to Bet She'an is very easy and the road offers beautiful landscapes. Modern city is tiny but pleasant with at least two good restaurants.
