Only thing to see is the house of Sarat Chandra Chatterjee...
Only thing to see is the house of Sarat Chandra Chatterjee about 7km away where one can go with a TOTO. Otherwise boring. A good hotel location for relaxing, but I could not enjoy because of no-view suite and dining hall with Toilets where people are going in and out.

Beautiful getaway, just over an hour's drive from Kolkata. Lovely place to visit with friends and family.
Approach to the property is a little rough though, country road is narrow and hard on the wheels. But that is only for a short stretch just before reaching it.
Food might not taste like home. Advisable to order vegetarian. Bring some provisions and cooked items and you are set for a wonderful stay!

I am a frequenter there, and am continuously giving my feedback about the property to be more physically approachable by road, which becomes quite tough at the last leg when one takes the Riverside road...and give a vigilant look into the maintenance of the property. Some amenities are getting problematic as thos face depreciation.
