La Settima Luna was incredible. The hosts were welcoming and wonderful. The hotel is a little oasis on the island, and just relaxing on the roof terrace, in the naturally heated pool was blissful! Breakfast was great but what really made it special were the bedrooms. Large, spacious, gorgeous bathrooms. Very comfortable beds...
La Settima Luna is open all year round, I would really love to come back and experience the island at a different time of year. I was able to work remotely for a day easily, the wifi was great.
We rented a small car from Luigi at the harbour for the day. That got us to the hotel. We came to Lipari rather late in the season so a lot of the restaurants closed for the winter. So the car came in really handy to get to the places that were open which is close to the port.
We would recommend Ristorante Il Corallo, the food and hosts were lovely.

A quaint little town, without too many other travellers. 2 restaurants (both great), 1 café (also great), and a small convenience store. That's it ;-) Beach is only rocks - small and big, but still very nice. Water is clear and warm. A perfect place for a quiet retreat, and a great place for exploring the rest of the island. I recommend renting a car, as the bus service is minimal.
the hotel has a Greek-Sicilian style that makes it very charming. Although it’s located next to a ruined property, the location is charming, the view is great.
The staff was very kind and available.
A nice beach right in front, furnished by the hotel (chaise-longue and umbrellas) was also a plus for us.
All in all a very good value for money.
