Nice smaller apartment but had everything needed. In front of the entrance is a small terrace that offers a pleasant atmosphere for morning coffee. The apartment is located in a small town where there is only one shop and no restaurants. They have small bars where you can get drinks and coffee, and locals gather here. A great place to completely disconnect and relax. If you want the hustle and bustle of the city and more varied events, you will have to go to nearby Potenza. The owner creates beautiful paintings that are displayed in the apartment and create a special atmosphere. Don't miss them when you get there.

Pasquale contacted me prior to our arrival, asked when we would be arriving so he could greet us and also to ask us what kind of breakfast we wanted for the following day! He also helped us arrange an activity for the following day, offered to help make reservations for dinner and followed up on how was everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

Teresa was extremely helpful and kind with us. She provided fresh fruits, freshly backed cake and much more for breakfast plus fresh bread every day. Check in and check out were perfect too. The house is lovely and there is all you need. The village has not much too offer but is a convenient starting point for all nearby activities.

Set at an altitude of 850 metres, this large historic farmhouse offers panoramic views, a large garden with swimming pool and a peaceful location just outside Trivigno in Basilicata.

I would encourage everyone to book this place, to even make a detour during your trip to visit this area and especially to stay at Foresteria di San Leo. We have been travelling a lot over the past years, and this is one of the best spots we've stayed at. The location is absolutely amazing, but even better are the staff and the food! The owners are so so so nice, they make you feel at home and treat you like family. Both the breakfasts and dinners are exceptional. The breakfast offers so many different options and the cakes are just extremely delicious. The price of the dinners is extremely low for the high quality that they provide, we were super full and happy both times we ate here. The room is also really nice (it takes some time for the water in the shower to turn hot, so just be patient ;-) ) and the swimming pool was great even in early October. We will suggest this place to any family/friends visiting this area and if we were ever to return in Basilicata ourselves, we will again book this place without a single doubt. The absolute best!
