The property is very historic and located on a hillside with spectacular views of the valley. We had a very comfortable room which was very clean and a lovely bathroom with powerful shower. The lady on reception was really helpful and supportive as we had a problem with our car. The tasting menu was delicious and incredibly tasty. All in all a terrific stopover.

Rooms were lovely and comfortable. I liked that they had personality to them not just blank rectangles but with beams, the beds in the lofts with sitting area/pull out couches below.

Very nice place with very friendly and helpful staff. It has its own parking area, which in view of the location of the hotel outside the town is of utmost importance. It was warm throughout the building, which in view of the cooling evening was very good. Upon our arrival in the early evening in the restaurant there was a children's party/birthday. We were pleasantly surprised when for a very short time after the end of the party the restaurant was thoroughly cleaned and prepared for dinner for the hotel guests. Our room was very small but with a large double bed. This is not a complaint, just one was left available when I booked. For one night it was very good. Dinner was delicious, prepared on the spot.
