The vibe of the hotel is amazing, as is the indoor pool & wellness (had a lovely massage), the bar, staff, piano in the lobby and at night in the bar are all super nice.
The Astoria is set on Stresa's lake-side promenade facing the Borromean Islands. It has a nice garden, and offers rooms with Wi-Fi access, satellite TV and panoramic views.
Hotel La Palma enjoys picturesque views over Lake Maggiore in Stresa city centre. Located directly on the lakefront, it is surrounded by a garden and provides free parking.

Excellent location in Stress, walking distance to the town center, and right on the boardwalk. The view from the room was exceptional, with a clear sight on the Borromean islands. The hotel itself is new, clean and very comfortable. The spa and rooftop pools are an added bonus, with the same amazing view. All we could have asked for was better weather.
The breakfast was plentiful, varied and very tasty.
The hotel restaurant was also very good, among the better dining experiences we had in the region.

The hotel itself was great, location was very close to the train station also to the public boats to go to the islands.
The facilities inside are perfect for a short get-away. Pool has an amazing atmosphere of old roman styled baths and the rooms where a good size and very comfortable with great views.
Chiostro Hotel is a renovated monastery set in Intra, Verbania's old town, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The hotel has peaceful gardens and its own gym. Wi-Fi is free.

It is a nice well maintained 3* star property that offers nice spacious rooms. It is very close to the water and rooms got all the facilities needed. Their breakfast has a variety and is rich. Next door restaurant is a plus.

Actually, we only wanted to stay for three days, but it was so fantastic that we decided to stay for a week. The view of the lake is indescribable! So were Angela and Mikel and the whole crew! The food is prepared and served with love and skill! We will definitely return! Thanks to everyone, it was wonderful.
