We loved this place so much- being immersed in nature and opening the door of the room and seeing trees and flowers all around is a real blessing when you spend most of the year living in a city. It’s relaxing without being boring- the pool has a wonderful view and there are other quiet spots like the hammock and the swing- where you can think your own thoughts and completely wind down. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and truly made us feel at home. Finally, the breakfast with eggs from the hens nearby and homemade cakes and jams was the best!

He can even arrange visits to the local church-museum which is rich with extraordinary masterpieces. His information made us feel "home" in Mercatello.
