The hospitality we received was exceptional. Our host Walter recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and wonderful local places to visit. Breakfast was the best of our stay in Sicily and so was the shower! Walter's mother's baking is delicious and I was treated to a surprise birthday cake!

It is a large beautiful home with a massive balcony overlooking the adjacent valley and castle tower, all the way to Mt Etna.
It is on a plot of land filled with olive, lemon, orange, fig, cherry and persimmon trees and a small hobby farm with chickens, goats and baby goat, dog, Turkeys, a goose, ducks you name it! He gave us fresh eggs for our breakfast! He harvests everything including his olives which produce 200L of oil every year! Depending on the season, he actually takes his guests to visit local farms and pet the cows and watch them make and sample amazing cheeses and in October his guests help to pick some olives(a few) and then they watch the process from picking to crushing in the 'factory' to sampling the olive oil with bread! I mean what could be better than that!

It is very hilly, so if travelling by car it is good to be prepared with good tyres. The restaurants in the area do not have updated opening times on Google so it is better to phone and check if the restaurants will be open. Many restaurants just open in the evening.

What a gem of a B&B.
What a gem of a B&B. We had a hotel for a week in Polermo but were down in Mussomeli and didn’t want to travel all the way back to our hotel that night so we booked this B&B last minute. We wish we had booked our week long trip here, instead. Couldn’t be more perfect. 10 stars in every way!
