Well that’s a great questions I would have to say the only positive point about this property was the well kept garden, the rest is for sure about 40 years too old and in need of up keeping unless you like to pay high prices for and absolute ridiculous place. I believe in Karma so nothing more to say!

I usually don't write any reviews about the places I stay at, but this one at Casa Philomena was exceptional!
Rarely have I experienced such warm hospitality, kind-hearted hosts or passion to make a guest feel welcome.
I nearly wasn't able to go to Lioni, so my lovely host offered to pick me up from the bus station in Avellino for a little fare and even cooked a home-made pasta lunch with regional products for me <3
Afterwards, we ventured out for a little trip to the local waterfall.
The house/upper floor itself is amazing, cute and exactly what I expected from a well-kept place in charming Irpinia.
