The reviews we’d read, did not live up to our expectations. We were expecting kitchen, with oven, dining area and fridge we had nothing and the shower was too small to use, we left after one night a found somewhere else to stay. So disappointing. The daughter manages the bookings, her parents look after guests. It states languages spoken English, Italian & German. Very limited English by the husband none by wife.

Everything. A family run business on a working farm. We asked to walk their beautiful big dogs in the olive groves. These dogs are kept separate from guests as some have tiny kids that might get knocked over. We fell in love with the array of small farm animals too. Everything was sparkling clean and we had a great balcony and en suite bathroom. The family members all doted over the small kids. They made the BEST coffees to cater to our tastes. The pool is clean and warm and the views so peaceful. Take their recommendation of the home restaurant near-by. 8 courses, home made Limoncello and a liter of complimentary dry red wine is standard too. Only 20 Euro per head. A steal.

We stayed at La Ginestra for 1 night, but wished we would have had more time there. The house and garden were beautiful and was it not for the weather we would have used the barbecue outside. The room was clean and the very kind host offered that we could use the fridge to cool for example water (we were going to hike) which we accepted gratefully. Because we had to leave early in the morning, we asked if we could check out earlier and this was no problem. We would certainly recommend a stay at La Ginestra!
