Our hosts Susi and Cristiano were exceptional. We arrived late from Pisa Airport but nothing was too much trouble. They welcomed us and made you feel at home immediately. Also they had booked the local village restaurant for our dinner. Which was superb and only 800 meters away The residence is superb. Rooms are spacious immaculately cared for with comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms. The outside terraces and pool area is beautifully maintained with views of the local countryside. The attention to detail and services as well as their hospitality is remarkable. Breakfast is buffet and freshly cooked with was delicious. An amazing place in a great central location for the area with fantastic hosts.

Tomasso and his dad are absolutely lovely and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful and they have gorgeous horses. (Be aware that their electric fence DOES work if you're leaning in for photos....LOL) There is a very friendly cat and three well cared for dogs - always a good sign of humans right?? And a fascinating ancient piano.The bed while not the "poshest" was comfy and we had 4 good nights sleep there. The aircon, when it worked, was quiet and efficient. The kitchen had everything needed for a short stay.
