Casteluccio Valmaggiore was a quiet and picturesque town.

Casteluccio Valmaggiore was a quiet and picturesque town. It is off the beaten path and far from tourist-filled areas. If travelers are visiting the area, as we have, to experience the Italy of our grandparents, it is much more authentic than the more we’ll-known areas. It is essential to have a car in this region and some ability to speak Italian is very helpful.
