A beautiful town and location Would highly recommend the grand hotel for the use of the thermal spa and lovely staff who couldn’t have been more helpful The restaurant cantinaza is a must! The food was amazing , beautifully cooked, in a typical environment , five stars all the way

The setting, especially in autumn, is beautiful from every window. The staff was kind and helpful. The family owner graciously served us our breakfast. Parking is available conveniently on the property. The heating and hot water were excellent. What a wonderful place from which to enjoy the vineyards, the kiwi fields, expanses of lawns and beautiful trees. Enchanting.

We had the budget room which was quite substantial and had a very good bed, lots of space and lovely antique furniture. A great bathroom and lots of wardrobe space. The room has a kettle. Private, secure access. Aircon which we didn't need to use. Breakfast was not included but there's a bar around the corner. Very good pizza etc restaurant 200 meters away. Bus stop 50 meters away. Attentive host.

She made suggestions for things to see and do in the area, and staying in a 500 year-old castle was a special treat. Would highly recommend, and I hope to return next time I visit Italy.
