Everything! Lovely old farmhouse building, beautifully furnished.
We were half board and the breakfasts and dinners were amazing. I couldn’t have eaten everything but we definitely got our money’s worth!
The couple running it were very sweet, and very patient with my rudimentary Italian.
We went for some beautiful walks around the farmhouse as well.
It was so peaceful.

It was extremely difficult to find the right entrance as there were no signs from the car park. We wandered around the courtyard and outside as there was no-one about. Eventually a lady appeared and showed us to our room but it seemed completely deserted otherwise. Clear signs are needed from the car park to reception which is on the opposite side of the building.
Later in the afternoon, more people appeared and there was to be a christening the next day so we were told there was no restaurant or food available that evening. So we had to drive back into Sambucca to get a meal. This was not notified to us before we arrived.
