Host welcomed us; always ready and flexible to help. Spacious place at the outskirts of Contiglione, easy parking and amenities are close. Greccio and Cascata delle Marmore are only a few minutes drive away. Assisi, Spoleto and Cascia are an hour drive from the place. Rieti is also close. Various breakfast items were prepared by the host and place had a working open fireplace where we grilled pork sausages bought from the local butcher. The historical centre of Contilgione can be reached by foot. The borgo is built on a hill and one can ramble the narrow streets to enjoy the small rustic houses and open views of the nearby central Appennini and valleys.
