A last minute booking on a cycling trip, we had no real expectations but were happily surprised. Helpful staff, nice room, beautiful surroundings. Purchased on site breakfast which was excellent. Secure storage provided for our bikes. Highly recommend this hotel

The room and bathroom were very nice. I liked the offer of coffee and tea in the room that you could make yourself. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They replaced one large blanket with two smaller, separate ones without any problem. Guaranteed parking, good access to the hotel and the room.

Totally new hotel with new furnitures, equipments. It is run by a lovely family, they are really for their guests. They solved everything (storing our bikes, drying our clothes after a self service laundry..). Moreover, due to a mistake in the advertisment we booked it on a cheap price and they didn't make us pay more, really appreciated! Breakfast was also delicious. Beach, restaurant, supermarkets are within some mins by walk. There are free parking spaces next to the hotel and air condition in the whole building.
Hotel Julia is an elegant pink building in Lido Degli Estensi, the liveliest resort of the Comacchio area. The hotel is 150 metres from both the beach and the bus stop to Ravenna, Ferrara and Venice.

Proximity to sea. Very welcoming front desk and friendly staff. We had one room with balcony with a view to the side of the hotel, and one without a balcony. Rooms were quiet, with good air conditioning and we slept really well. Excellent buffet breakfast - lots of choice.
We chose to walk across the causeway from Comacchio. That was mostly really good, but coming off the path in to the outskirts of Lido d'Estense a bit more like walking along a road with traffic - information on accessing the hotel when walking might be useful to other travellers. For our return journey we took a bus - bus stop easy to find.
