Apartment is gorgeous and very comfortable, the decor is great, there is an amazing wrap around balcony and the attention to detail by the host is unbelievable.
Host had thought of everything including a book of recommendations, well worth taking note of. Empoli is a lovely place to stay itself, and less than half to Firenze on regular train. Vinegar bar and restaurant seems like great spot, they even fired back up the kitchen when we arrived late...

There was a common kitchen which we had cook. It was really fun to cook while we were on a trip. Also there was 3 differents bathrooms for people who where staying in 3 different rooms. That also felt secure and clean. Room was also nice. The host left us electric kettle and also some herbal teas. She was half german half italian. So if you speak in german that would be better for her. Thats what I did huh :)

Easy to access from Pisa airport with a train station offering easy and speedy access to many cities - 25 mins into Florence. There are bars and restaurants all pretty central, a large supermarket and several smaller ones. The is also a municipal pool which looks lovely.

Empoli is between Florence, Pisa and Siena so it's a pefrect place to stay and visit all three places. Empoli is a nice small quiet place that represents Toscany with beautiful hills, vineyards and olive fields.

I was only stopping over in Empoli.
I was only stopping over in Empoli. It is where you change trains from the Pisa -Florence line if you want to go south. I only know the area around the station which is a bit seedy, but the transport links are good (for Italy). The bus station is right there too

We visited this great little town on our way from Siena to Pisa Airport. Stayed one night at the Hall hotel. Lovely squares, cafes, restaurants and bars. Very friendly locals. A young woman saw us reviewing a map in the street and asked if we needed any help.
The parking of the property was great. Do think to “park” your car in the little public parking in front of the hotel (via pulidori), ring the door and then the staff will open the parking door next to the hotel for you to be able to park the car.
We were a bit worried about the spring mattress (very soft) but it was comfortable and we slept very well.
Everything is a bit oldish but for one night, it was ok.
If you are looking for a place to eat, go to “Tavola Calde del Re” (2-3 minutes by foot), it’s amazing.
A beautifully restored old villa, still run by the family, fascinating history of owners who had some of the glasswork factories of Empoli, famous for the green glass manufacture. Rooms are large and fully furnished, landscaped gardens, which look down over Empoli, although a B&B, one night we had an evening meal which they prepared for their guests, 4 lovely courses and we had some of their own produced wine. A memorable stay, and one of my favourites ever.

Everything was better than we expected. The host was incredible and extremely helpful. He provided great hospitality to us and made us feel at home,a thing that is rarely found. The facilities were perfect and also very neat and tidy. The location was also perfect, the train station and the center of Empoli are just a walk away from the house.Definitely would reccomend this place to anyone visiting Empoli and I would 100% come back
The room was attractive and comfortable and the breakfast selection was excellent. It was a quiet location without the crowds and parking troubles of Florence and Empoli provided many options for evening meals within a short walking distance of the hotel. The Il Sole provided excellent access to the railway station across the road with 25 minute access to the centre of Florence. The trains were clean and frequent. Fantastic.
She was the best host and had arranged the room properly and showed us all the facilities herself and even guided us with local restaurants.
The place is just around 15 minutes walk and also has bus access from and to the empoli station and was an easily accessible point towards all directions.
Just outside was coop.fi in case you need something and also there was a store nearby basic things.
Very scenic, beautiful and relaxing location that was close to our friend's wedding venue. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and there were a lot of indoor and outdoor private areas to relax in. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the owner even helped us get back to Florence when there was an unexpected regional train strike.
a great location to see the sites around Florences. Pisa and Tuscany in general. Parking was provided which for us was a god send. Empoli itself is a great town, good restaurants and shopping. Empoli was itself a surprise for us. The unit is near the trainstation which makes getting around easy if you don't like fighting Italian traffic. We would stay there again
Breakfast was perfect. Service was excellent. Gave the feel of a family run Hotel but was done very professionally.
Secured parking was a short walk away but was glad to get a safe spot. Train station was directly across the street giving us access to Siena and Florence. Room was very comfortable. Really liked this place.
Best stay place to stay if you are planning to visit pisa and Florence. Every 15 -30 mins you have train to pisa and Florence. The stay place is 10 min walkable from empoli railway station and the elderly couple managing the rooms were amazing.
Hotel opposite the railway station entrance. Really friendly welcome and excellent suggestions for dinner given. Good selection at breakfast. Empoli a very handy location for Firenze, Siena and Pisa as well as worth visiting in it's own right.
Very close to Empoli train station and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Only half an hour from Florence. Clean and comfortable! Vanna also checked in to make sure everything for our stay was perfect- nice personal touch!
Apartment was very good and clean, met the hosts who gave us a bottle of homemade wine. Hosts could not have been more helpful. Healthy walk into town to catch the train into Florence, such a greath railway service in Italy
Very hot water in the shower was always available. Safe and silent area. Close to train station with a good connections to Florence, Pisa, Livorno, La Spezia, etc. Nice cozy small town with many small shops, cafes.
amazing property in the fabulous countryside around Empoli. charming rooms and apartments with any sort of comfort, privacy and independency. Fabulous wine producers too…
