Everything was perfect vom A-Z. We arrived in the early evening and after a long drive, we were too tired to go out eating in a restaurant. Although the hotel's restaurant was closed, Carmelo fixed us spontaneous a nice dinner just for us and it exceeded our expectations. Thanks for this excellent service. The villa is located on the beach, in Ali Terme. Initially, you're not impressed, but after realizing that you're in Sicily, on a Blue Flag beach, and with a bar, restaurants, and a supermarket nearby... you realize what a wonderful accommodation it is. It's best to have a rented car (we rented one from Catania) and explore the island. Taormina, Savoca, Mount Etna, Syracuse, Messina, and so on, are easily accessible locations. Don't bother looking for other beaches. On that side of the island, there are stones in the water, but you can easily solve that with water shoes from the supermarket. We didn't encounter any parking problems. Special thanks to Angelo, our host, who gifted us a wonderful Sicilian wine and recommended places to eat and things to try.
