The castle was stunning upon arrival ! We loved our stay in the Tower, beautiful view of the countryside and Siena, just amazing. The sun set over Siena. It is very convenient to Siena, just 10 minutes to San Francesco parking area and up the escalator to Siena.
The hosts were very friendly and as it happened they have a farmhouse restaurant about 10 minutes away. No ordinary restaurant, they make their own wine, olive oil and grow many of the ingredients at the farm. If you are in the area, you must eat here, Le Pietre Vive Restaurante. Very Very nice, we highly recommend ! Glenn and Diane
