What a stunning place to stay in! A beautifully appointed apartment in the centre of a charming village. Spacious, clean and comfortable. There are many thoughtful touches to make the apartment exceptional. Shops and restaurants are within a minutes walk. It is very conveniently placed to the Magna via Francigena. Very good value. Angela and her husband are amazing hosts; communication was excellent, checking in and out very easy. They even offered to pick us up as it was raining and were waiting for us in the village square to take us directly to the property. I would go out of my way to stay here and highly recommend staying here.

The Villa and grounds were gorgeous! We loved the interior design. The staff were all lovely and super helpful, giving good local recommendations. A short drive for all the sights and city. Breakfast was a delight. We picked up a charcuterie board locally and enjoyed an al fresco dinner in the gardens. P.s. for other guests travelling by car we recommend the train station parking if the suggested areas are full.

    I didn’t like anything.

I didn’t like anything. Dangerous electrics, bulbs missing, no hot water. Dingy and unkempt. Full of awful old shoddy furniture. Microwave button broken so couldn’t heat any water for coffee. Wi-Fi code unintelligible (see pic), I tried contacting him but to no avail. This was the most expensive accommodation on my 8 day trip, the place I stayed for the least time and the poorest. On attempting to discuss with owner he was dismissive, uncooperative and obfuscated the issue whilst accusing me of stealing a cot cover ?? Please don’t stay here as it might hopefully encourage him to improve the facilities. The trip was towards the end of an extremely difficult pilgrimage across Sicily and this accommodation left me with a bitter taste in my mouth exactly the type of feelings I looked to avoid on the trip. Shame on him. Sorry for the overly verbose language I’m trying to show that this was a carefully considered, worded and accurate review of a horrible place.
