1. There is a big difference in quality if you stay in the new or old part of the hotel.
2. The rooftop pool (top of the new building) is far away from the spa (which is in the -1 floor of the old building)
3. There were a lot of guest at the rooftop pool which makes it too crowded. It's not quiet and a lot of people are drinking alcohol in the pool. There is no hostess or guard available
4. The standard dining menu was not very tasteful, which is very remarkable in the part of Italian.
All and all, we paid too much money for the quality we received.
There marketing instrument is to sell the pool but if you aren't interested in it, there are better choices

Laion is a lovely little town, quiet and cosy.
Laion is a lovely little town, quiet and cosy. Several restaurants and a shop are available, but all the surrounding villages are easily accessible by car. There is a ski bus to the ski slopes, but you can also get there quickly by car. It's not crowded, it has an authentic atmosphere for those who don't like crowds and want to enjoy real country hospitality.
Last but not least, don't miss the pizza in the bar near the sport field :)

This is very calm place, far from city rush and noise.
This is very calm place, far from city rush and noise. If you prefer to live near the slope and lifts and going everywhere by foot, you will be disapointed. If you, like we do, enjoy quiet, calm, beautiful and charming places with wonderful views you should definitely see it, no matter in summer or winter. The mountains are beautiful, and the only thing better is the weather!
For us, the location was great! Very close to town but not right in it. There are lots of small villages to visit nearby, beautiful drives, great shops excellent wood craft studios...
Breakfast was excellent, hot tub and saunas were nice because few guests were using it. Parking was good. They have a lift. Room was very nice and comfortable.
I highly recommend staying here. I believe it was the owner working the front desk. He was very friendly and obviously took pride in his hotel.
I highly recommend staying here.
Excelent Location!!! Like it says in the name "private rooms", it is not a hotel but it's great for the price comparing with the super expensive hotels in Ortisei. The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Make sure to bring your own bedsheets and towels, if not there's 15 euro fee. If your plan it to hike and explore the mountains, and you just need a place to sleep... then Muller Rooms is great for you!!!
No tv, so bring your tablet, laptop or a book.
Wonderful family-run guesthouse. Giovanni and his family are the consummate hosts. Excellent communication, advice, and accommodations. Our suite was lovely, quiet, beautiful view. Housekeeping every day. Breakfast was a delight every morning. We enjoyed the quiet village of Laion, outside of the touristy valley towns, but easily accessible by bus, which ran hourly. It was a lovely hiking holiday in the Dolomites.
We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location and the proximity to Ortisei for skiing. The spa area was most appreciated after fun days in the slopes. They kindly and graciously accommodated our special requests. As a family, we really enjoyed the breakfasts in the mornings. The rooms we were assigned looked new and the beds and linens were most comfortable. We highly recommend Hotel Weisses Rossl.
It was a clean, well appointed flat on the first floor. The bed was comfortable and the environment was quiet to very quiet once the windows were closed. The central heating was working well (the stay was in early December). The view from the large balcony is lovely.
Laion with some good shops and cafes is close by (5 min).
There is a large lockable garage in which to park the car.
Our stay at Ansitz Zehentner was simply perfect, and thank you again to all the family for your hospitality. The room was very cozy and clean, and the breakfast was great and delicious everyday with local products.
Laion is a lovely town with great scenery and walking routes around it, and really well connected with public transport.
We will certainly return!
The hotel is a wonderful historic building in a scenic and quiet small town setting. The family run hotel is wonderful service, friendly, and very accommodating. The were willing to meet special requests and sent an item I forgot when departing. Good breakfast buffet and some made to order cooked items. Great location to use for winter skiing or summer hiking.
You stay in one of the four rooms to rent in the beautiful private home of Antonia and Philip, gracious and kind hosts, offering you the best information and recomandations of places to go, a delicious breakfast and superb views. A little far away from Lion's center, the house is surounded by lush green meadows, forests...a paradise. Can't recomend enough!
Super super nice host! I really enjoy the wonderful view of the hotel and the breakfast. If you travel by public transportation, you could get off at Chiusa train station and take bus 351 to Tschofas stop. It's not easy but definitely worthwhile.
Absolutely the best hotel we had during our stay on our dolomites tour from hotel to hotel.
Huge room with a view to the valley, helpfull and kind staff.
We ate dinner on the restaurant of the hotel as well and it was perfect.
They have an awesome wellness center. It is very clean and the food was reasonable and delicious. The breakfast was nice also. I think that the hotel is reasonably priced.
We stayed here for 12 days and it was very nice.
The hotel has just a few rooms so it is quiet and intimate, it is right on the road to Ortisei and it offers transport to the different skiing areas. the breakfast is small but has a bit of everything
The hotel is in a fantastic location. The view is fabulous. We got a double room at a basic price! The staff is fair, although fast in Italian. The wellness is great. The meal is delicious.
Very friendly staff, we were really looked after. Great food! Beautiful pool and relaxation room with unexpected refreshments. The views were stunning and the hotel itself was very clean.
Convenient location, near a bus stop. the room had a bathroom, a nice bonus after a long walk in the mountains:) very cozy hotel and a nice breakfast with lovely atmosphere overall
