A good choice for a weekend in this area of Tuscany, in Cascina, which is an easy drive from Pisa or Lucca. Room was a basic business hotel room. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Il Falchetto is an intimate hotel 650 metres from Pontedera Train Station. It offers free bike hire and air-conditioned rooms with antique furnishings and original paintings.

The staff did everything they could to make us comfortable even though we arrived late, hot, and tired. The air conditioning worked well, the beds were comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic - including gluten free options. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The decor was interesting and unique.
Casale Le Torri is a completely restored country house surrounded by gardens and olive groves, set on gentle Tuscan hillside. Enjoy modern facilities here, including a large outdoor pool.

The staff were so helpful. They noticed we were leaving early in the morning for our flight home and they packed us a breakfast which was very nice of them. The food in the restaurant was fantastic too. Beautiful setting in the olive groves.
Hotel La Pace is located in the historical center of Pontedera, 200 metres from the train station. In a very quiet position, it is the ideal place for relaxing holidays.

It was in a great location with friendly staff. Both lift and stairs to each floor. Room was quite spacious but had no coffee/tea provided. We had the family room so one king bed in the open area and 2 single beds in the separate bedroom. Big cupboards for storage in both rooms. Bathroom small but adequate. Close to train station, supermarket, Piaggio Museum and the old town. Parking is on the street out the front. You pay during the day but free overnight! Breakfast options were ok.

We had a very pleasant experience at Villa Maria, the room was very nice and clean and Simone, the host of this place was friendly and helpful.
He prepared us a very pleasant breakfast and on the day of departure, how we had to leave very early, he left breakfast treats on the kitchen table for us to take with us on the way.
It was very much appreciated ♥️
