The location was excellent, right in town, with a great view right over the piazza. It wasn't noisy at all, though, as the windows isolated the sound. We didn't have breakfast there, but it looked nice. Room was small but beautifully and intelligently decorated, and AC was appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

The host of the place was just great! Despite the language barrier, the communication was exceptionally warm and pleasant and worked very well with the help of body language and the translation app. I was the only guest, but dinner was prepared for me at my request. The restaurant is very cozy, with a wonderful view and nice Italian music playing in the background. A really enjoyable and reasonably priced dinner. I recommend it to anyone who finds themselves hiking in the Apuan Mountains of the Alps, it was the perfect end to a long day of hiking.

You either like it or hate it. We were unlucky to be there in a pretty bed weather, cold weather front with torrential rain instead of a nice and warm Easter weekend. Yet, the guys living and working there made it unforgettable. I will definitely come back!

The room is rather simple, but the surrounding in mountains among local people is nice. Though the staff does not speak fluent English, it would do whatever you wish to make you happy! And the local pizzeria in hotel is great!

Nice and spacious rooms, with enough space to unpack for a couple of days (what we did), visiting the area. Very central location to visit Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre (and even further if you want, e.g. Chianti region.
Just next to the 'autostrada' exit with a lot of Tesla superchargers and enough free parking.
A nice breakfast with enough choice.
We visited the cave (16€), definately worth it. And there were other tours, but we didn't have enough time. Ristorante Albergo Villechiara- amazing. Several streets get lit up at night- really beautiful.
